Outcomes

At the end of this summer school you can expect the following outcomes:

A full-scale timber pavilion
A collaboratively designed 1:1 timber pavilion whose final form directly reflects offcut unpredictability and in-situ decisions— demonstrating uncertainty as an aesthetic and structural opportunity.
A concise report
A concise report/user study capturing interdisciplinary strategies for working with uncertainty and individual preferences for opening/closing modes
Conceptual Contributions
Evidence that treating uncertainty as a resource enables adaptive systems and collaborative methods in design and fabrication—informing future research on human–robot co-design and the role of uncertainty in creative work.
